2008 Yamaha Dual Sport

Yamaha WR250X - Directly descended from our YZ motocrossers and WR off-road machines--even the original Yamaha YA-1 of 1955 - the all-new WR250X is here to make Yamaha's off-road prowess street accessible. Not exactly an enduro, a supermoto or a sportbike, the WR250X is for riders who ride mostly paved surfaces. Its sibling, the off-road inspired WR250R, is for riders who spend more time in the dirt.

Yamaha WR250R - Directly descended from our YZ motocrossers and WR off-road machines--even the original Yamaha YA-1 of 1955 - the all-new WR250R is here to make Yamaha's off-road prowess street accessible. Not exactly an enduro model and not a streetbike either, the WR250R is for riders who ride off-road more than on. Its sibling, the supermoto-inspired WR250X, is for riders who spend more time on pavement.

Yamaha XT250 - For 2008, a bigger engine and extensive upgrades take the XT to the next level of fun and all-around function. All-new styling including a bigger gas tank reinforce the XT's looks and performance. Long-travel suspension and over 11.2 inches of ground clearance live under a seat only 31.9 inches from the ground. Electric start makes firing up the larger 249cc four-stroke effortless. New, 245mm front disc and 203mm rear disc brakes combine to deliver superb stopping power on both paved and unpaved surfaces.

Yamaha TW200 - Those big fat tires deliver great traction and rider comfort over a wide range of terrain, and they make the TW200 the most distinctive-looking dual purpose machine around. A low seat and compact chassis inspire condensed in anybody who rides the TW200, making it one of the most user friendly on/off-road bikes on the market. Electric start and full street equipment mean it's super convenient to ride the TW200 just about wherever you need to go.
